We are proud to announce that our Head Chef, Karen White from The Mayfields has won the regional finals at The Great British Care Awards for Best Care Home Cook/Chef Award. The prestigious awards took place in Peterborough celebrating the best of the best from the care industry. National finals are being held in Birmingham in September. Best of luck Karen.

A Royal Garden Party in the beautiful sunshine was how The Mayfields spent their Saturday to celebrate the Queens birthday. A delicious BBQ, homemade desserts and live entertainment was enjoyed by everyone.

At Castlemeadow Care, we truly appreciate each employee at our company. As a thank you, a chocolate Valentines hamper and personalised card has been delivered to show our love.

So thrilled to let you know that The Mayfields has received the vaccine today. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who supported us in ensuring the first step to brighter future.

Castlemeadow Care's The Mayfields home created robins with the resident's fingerprints. The activity was joyful for all involved!

What a wonderful surprise for one of our residents at The Mayfields . Beryl's granddaughter and her partner got married and because of current COVID guidelines Beryl was not able to attend the wedding. However the happy couple came up with the fantastic idea to surprise her with a visit the following day in their wedding attire. Congratulations to the newlyweds and thank you for bringing your wedding into our home.

As we have not been able to go to the seaside recently, The Mayfields have worked hard to bring the seaside to the home. Our cruise liner and large ice creams were made by our fantastic Head of Activities Lorraine with our residents. We had fish and chips from the local chippy which was followed by two lovely cakes made by our wonderful staff.

Thank you from The Mayfields to everyone who attended our wonderful Christmas Fayre. It was fantastic to see so many families, friends and members of our local community whilst providing a great afternoon of fun for all our residents.
