Welcome to Highfield House Care Home, in Halesworth
Highfield House News

At Highfield House, we have the privilege of working with the most incredible people and their families. We often meet them at a different stage in life—one that can be challenging, especially when dementia changes how loved ones are known and remembered. Dementia is a thief of time. It slowly takes away memories, connections, and precious moments. It’s heart-breaking to say, but every three minutes, dementia steals a happily ever after. That’s why we are committed to raising awareness and funds by cycling 125 miles around our Castlemeadow Care homes to show the people we support that we are dedicated to finding a cure, to bring hope to families, and honour those we care for every day. Research is the only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia. We are looking for 10 keen cycle enthusiasts to join us for the 125 mile Strive Ride! All cyclists need to be able to physically take part in the activity with road worthy equipment. We are raising money for the UK's leading dementia research charity. All registrations will need to be emailed to Natalie.Gray@castlemeadow.co.uk . There is a £5.00 entry fee to donate straight to the charity page. https://www.justgiving.com/page/highfieldhouse

Our residents at Highfield House enjoyed a trip to the panto to see Puss-in-Boots at the Fisher Theatre, Bungay. There were ice creams and treats to be enjoyed and plenty of ‘it’s behind you’ to shout throughout the performance.
