Environmental Health Officers regularly inspect the food hygiene levels and cleanliness of kitchens in care homes. Recently they have been to inspect Highfield House as part of their routine inspection process. As a result of their excellent approach to food safety they were awarded a rating of 5 which is the highest possible rating that can be achieved. Congratulations to the kitchen team at Highfield House. 

Huge congratulations as our residents and the team at Highfield House celebrated the success of our General Manager for being the winner in a Norfolk competition. Martin was the winner achieving first place in the Norfolk Masters Deadlift Competition 2023 which was held in Dereham. With a winning lift of 230kg Martin commented, "Its official I am now the strongest Manager in Castlemeadow Care" In June Martin plans to compete in his next scheduled competition which is England’s Strongest Master.

Huge congratulations to St Johns House Care Home in Norwich who won two prestigious awards at the Caring UK Awards 2023. Regional Care Home of the Year Midlands and Wales and the biggest award of them all..... National Care Home of the Year. Well done and thank you to our Outstanding team at St Johns House.  We are so proud.

Our 7th Year Anniversary at St Johns House was in full swing with our special guests from the Lord Mayor of Norwich to the wonderful dancers from Guildhall School of Dance. Jane told us how the atmosphere was wonderful which was full of music, laughter and love. Our residents were greeted to the children from our local dance school and you could hear people gasping on how beautiful their appearance was. Glenis told us how she had a few tears of joy when she saw the little children come in and how it bought loving memories back to her when she was a dancer. 

Huge congratulations to Shelia Spillings from Highfield House for winning The Unpaid Carer Award at The Great British Care Awards in Milton Keynes on Friday. We had a wonderful evening with Gill Burrows from Highfield House also being highly commended for The Ancillary Worker Award. Martin Bargeman our General Manager of Highfield House accepted the award on behalf of Sheila who was unable to attend the evening. Well done to our other four finalists. We are so proud of you all.

Huge congratulations to Chris Mitchley our Executive Chef from St Johns House in Norwich who was a finalist for the Care Chef of The Year award and the winner of the Health and Hygiene Award at the NACC Gala and Awards Dinner held at the East Midlands Conference Centre. Congratulations also to St Johns House who was a finalist for the Care Establishment of Year Award.
